A fuss-free, flavorful chili using four ingredients, slow-cooked to develop deep, robust taste.
# Components:
→ Protein
01 - 1 lb ground beef (450 g) or turkey or plant-based ground meat
→ Legumes
02 - 2 cans chili beans in sauce, 15 oz (425 g) each, undrained
→ Vegetables
03 - 1 can fire-roasted diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz (410 g), undrained
→ Seasoning
04 - 2 tbsp chili powder or preferred chili seasoning blend
# Directions:
01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up during cooking. Drain excess fat if necessary.
02 - Move the cooked ground beef into the slow cooker container.
03 - Add the chili beans with sauce, fire-roasted diced tomatoes with juices, and chili powder into the slow cooker.
04 - Stir all ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
05 - Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, allowing flavors to meld and the chili to thicken.
06 - Taste and adjust seasoning if preferred. Serve hot.
